Warehouse Operative

Prodrive Recruitment Ltd are seeking an experienced and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of their warehouse by handling materials, managing inventory, and maintaining quality control. This position requires a proactive individual who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment and is committed to upholding safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate warehouse equipment as required, adhering to safety protocols.


• Manage stock levels through accurate picking, packing, and organisation of products within the warehouse.


• Utilise a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory and facilitate efficient operations.


• Conduct quality control checks on shipments to ensure compliance with company standards.


• Assist in the shipping and receiving processes, ensuring timely delivery of products.


• Maintain a clean and organised work environment to promote safety and efficiency.

Requirements

• A minimum of 12 months previous experience in warehouse operations is required..


• Able to work a weekly rotating shift pattern - ( 06.00am - 14.00pm and 13.45pm to 22.00pm)


• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is desirable.


• Previous experience of using Hand Held Scanners.


• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy items (up to 25 kg) and standing for extended periods.


• Excellent attention to detail for quality control processes.


• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.


• A team player with effective communication skills, capable of working collaboratively within a diverse team environment.
