Job Description
The Role
- Assist customers with enquiries both over the phone and via email/ online messaging.
- Clear and transparent communication to customers and the team.
- Ordering of Parts for equipment and posting them out to Engineers as necessary.
- Raising calls on Field Service Management software for any faults/repairs for PDE Jobs
- Raising quotations for repairs, obtain Purchase Order, Schedule engineer.
- Invoice completed faults/Agreed Repairs/Parts.
- Housekeeping on Field Service Management software.
- Dispatch parts for Customers via TNT/Royal Mail.
- Cover when other employees are off.
- Projects issued by Directors.
- General team support.
- Contribution to and focus on continuous business improvement.
- Due to the nature of the role, you may need to be flexible about start and finish times and working additional hours.
Qualifications:
- Full current UK driving licence.
Experience / Skills / Knowledge:
- Knowledge of the waste industry an advantage.
- Confident communicator, accurate, approachable, flexible and ability to multi-task.
- Place great importance on providing the best customer service.
- Strong team worker with ability to work on own initiative.
- Ability to move and change systems and processes within a growing business.
- Ability to offer ideas and thoughts for discussion to promote the development of the business.
- Ability to problem-solve and adapt to different situations within a fast-paced environment.
- Competent in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Experience of using databases.
- Strong desire to learn new systems.
- Numerate, and confident with the written word.
- Confident telephone manner.
- A ‘can do’ attitude, willingness to learn and desire to succeed.
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure work is completed accurately.
- Approachable and friendly manner to assist others within the department.
