Job Description

Job Summary:


As an order fulfilment assistant in our workshop, you will be assisting our dedicated and hardworking team of employees in the Order Fulfilment Department who are responsible for making and dispatching all our online customer and wholesale orders. This is a varied role assisting throughout the full production cycle – Picking, Packing, Manufacturing and Dispatching.


Person Specification: You will be hard working, extremely reliable and flexible with a hands-on enthusiastic can-do attitude. You will be methodical and focused to achieve consistent results. Previous experience of an order fulfilment assistant would be beneficial, as would previously use of the following production machinery:


Sublimation – Mug Press, Heat press,


Engraving Systems - Laser, Gem and Zing programmes.


DTG (Direct to Garment)


UV


Duties and Responsibilities (will include, but not be limited to):


Picking


· Picking items for orders throughout the day.


· Accurate use of Order Management System to ensure accurate and timely assigning of picks.


· Ability to identify product variants and SKUs to enable accurate use of HHTs and picking totes.


Manufacturing


Assisting daily manufacturing tasks consisting of the below –



  • Accurate use of Order Management System

  • Understanding of Personalisation Report

  • Picking and preparing of personalisations.

  • Processing of engravings.

  • Manufacturing of all ‘Made to Order’ products

  • Preparing ‘Made to Order’ products ready for ‘Orders Requiring Picking’

  • Understanding the full ‘Works Order Picks’ process

  • Liaising with Customer Service regarding order services and queries

  • Accurate stock movement to manufacturing bins

  • Replenishment of stock room items

  • Making all orders within set lead times

  • Ensuring area is kept tidy and compliant to Health & Safety Regulations


Dispatch


Accurate use of Order Management and Courier Systems to ensure all goods are dispatched in set lead times and using correct delivery formats and dispatch materials.


General


· General maintenance of the order fulfilment and kitchen area including cleaning, emptying bins, and general tidying in line with Health & Safety Regulations


· Assisting Fulfilment Supervisor, and the creative teams.


Additional Responsibilities


In addition to the above, you are expected to be able to assist, and have a good understanding of the following departments:


Goods In


Accurate use of Order Management System to accept all goods received with a high level of quality control and updating lead times accordingly. Accurate stock movements when booking in and putting into stock. Also adhering to accounts procedures.


Hours of Work:


It is likely your working hours are to be 42 hours a week (8:30 – 17:30 Monday to Friday). However, evening, weekend and Bank Holiday work will be required throughout peak trading periods.
