Quality Assurance Administrator

Salary: Up to £28k DOE
Hours: Monday to Friday 37.5 hours/week (part flexi-time)

The Person:

• Good levels of literacy and numeracy


• Experience in a similar role

The Job:

Production of Blend instructions and review and release of materials for Work in Progress and finished products.

1. Supplier and raw material specification approval.


2. Preparing product blend sheets and allocating raw material batches for production.


3. Verifying fermentation, blending and packing records and releasing in-process materials and finished products to stock.


4. Issuing QA Certificates.


5. Preparation of documents for Document change control process.


6. Managing finished product stability test program.


7. Managing annual monitoring program for undesirable substances.


8. Responding to Customer inquiries regarding Supplier approval, COAs etc.


9. Assisting with stock checks.


10. Performing internal audits.


11. Maintain QA records to comply with certification and regulatory requirements


12. Liaising with purchasing, planning, production and customer service teams.


13. Working with minimal supervision.


14. Compliance with company Health and Safety, Environmental, Feed Safety and Quality systems. 


15. Accurate and precise record keeping. 


16. To fulfill other duties and responsibilities as may be reasonably required within the role.
