The Job:
The Account Support Role is to monitor and work as a team player to support the account managers.
You will be assigned to support two account managers covering two geographical areas.
The core reactive roles will be replying to quotes quickly, monitoring the win/loss ratio, chasing opportunities from the quotes, booking meetings for the reps, set in the planners, on-board and introducing new accounts.
The focus as a team is to maintain and grow current accounts and bring on board new potential. This will require maintaining good relationships and utilise potential spend. This will be to grow existing business and maintain the target GP%.
Detailed and disciplined use of the CRM system is required to make sure all contacts are correctly recorded.
In time with more experience, you will be able to assist on price lists and new business for the team.
